MAD-HR, a premium provider of outsourced HR support in East Anglia is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager. This part-time, remote role offers flexible working hours and is integral to leading our strategic marketing initiatives.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

This role will require an understanding of the full marketing mix, from PR and content to events and social. With MAD-HR’s award-winning service and exciting brand collaborations, we seek someone who can increase brand awareness and take us confidently into the next growth phase.

You will play a central role within the Company, acting as the primary liaison across different departments, aligning marketing strategies with our bespoke service offerings. You will leverage your insight into our client base to develop and implement data-driven marketing initiatives that captivate and resonate with our audience.

In addition to being a hands-on role, you will be supported by a freelance SEO expert, graphic designer, PR expert and web developer as part of your team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate as the hub of marketing initiatives, collaborating internally to brainstorm, refine, and execute strategies that elevate our brand recognition and stimulate client enquiries.
  • Gain a deep understanding of how our services align with the industry landscape, perform targeted customer and market analysis, and develop and execute a marketing strategy to propel MAD-HR into its next phase of growth.
  • Create and manage a content calendar that encompasses articles, press releases, and social media updates.
  • Forge and enhance partnerships, maximising collaborative efforts for mutual benefit.
  • Continually assess and enhance our marketing efforts to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with our objectives.
  • Seek out and act on public relations opportunities, maintaining an active presence in media relations.
  • Oversee communications and organisational tasks related to partnerships, events, and business expansions.
  • Consistently produce and publish written content.
  • Lead our social media presence, driving interaction and cultivating growth across various platforms.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Possess extensive hands-on B2B marketing experience, particularly in website management, customer research, establishing market fit, brand development, events, PR, and social media outreach.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing principles and adept at strategic planning.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for crafting compelling and engaging short- and long-form content.
  • A superb eye for detail and the ability to quality-check work before submission.
  • Innovative and strategic thinking with the capability to generate creative solutions.
  • Proficient with HubSpot and skilled in enhancing the return on investment (ROI) of marketing expenditures.
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management abilities, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and within set timeframes.
  • Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms, with a strong analytical approach to campaign analysis and data interpretation.
  • An effective collaborator capable of excelling within a distributed, remote-first team structure, building productive relationships at every organisational level.
  • Proactive, with a high degree of initiative and the capacity to progress projects autonomously. Naturally inquisitive about operational improvements and outstanding in project oversight.
  • Experience in briefing agencies, studios, and content producers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, effective marketing material.
  • Competent in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive plans and marketing activity schedules.
  • Proven track record of generating engagement and growth across various digital platforms.
