We’ve always said we like to lead by example.

Where we advise businesses on how they treat others and deliver their service, we consistently share insight into how we set the highest standards for ourselves.

Today, we were acknowledged for those high standards, by being formally announced as a finalist in the Suffolk Business Awards’ Customer Excellence category.

As if that wasn’t enough great reason to celebrate, we have also been selected for the shortlist of the ‘Small Business of the Year’ category.

We’re truly delighted to have been positioned among the best of the best, from across the county.

Our selection speaks of the pride and commitment we place in nurturing our client relationships, and truly getting to understand who it is we are supporting, and what their pain points are at any stage in their business lifecycle.

The Customer Excellence category, sponsored by Greater Anglia, takes into account a business’s approach to customer-driven initiatives and procedures, training, feedback and customer satisfaction, a clear growth strategy, and the existence of defined values.

Carole Burman says: “To be announced as a finalist in this significant award category is a wonderful recognition and a great tribute to the hard work of all the MAD-HR team.

We hope it reiterates to existing clients that their decision to engage us is absolutely the right one, and that it reminds them how valued they and their team are.”

The Small Business category, meanwhile, has been sponsored by JM Finn, and looks to honour a business which has shown all-round excellence, while having a clear strategy on such things as environmental impact, innovation and leadership.

Charlotte Bate adds: “We’ve got a strong and ambitious growth plan, and we have grown our team significantly over the last 12 months, so to be recognised as a finalist is a real testament to everybody’s hard work.

We work with a number of Suffolk businesses, and we know how good they are, so we know the quality of competition will be very high. It would be great to win, but just to be recognised is absolutely amazing.  We wish all the other finalists the very best of luck.”

News of the finalists was announced this morning in the East Anglian Daily Times as they organise the awards alongside headline sponsors Sizewell C and the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.  Please take a look at the EADT supplement showcasing all of the finalists here..

The Suffolk Business Awards culminates in an award ceremony on Thursday 29th September at Kesgrave Hall.

We’ll be sure to let you know how we get on!
